The Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) Leonardo Transfer of Innovation Projects are aimed at supporting the contribution made by Post 16 education and training to achieving the Lisbon goal of making the EU the most competitive knowledge-based economy.  This will bring sustainable economic development, more and better jobs, and greater social cohesion. The Leonardo programme aims to develop, share and spread best practice in education and training across the participating countries. Priority is given to projects which aim to support the development of the national lifelong learning strategies of the participating countries and reinforce collaboration between the different parts of the education and training systems.
