Costs for every course are included in the course listings. In most instances a single course fee covers administration, examination (excluding re-sits), certification costs, access to the College’s Learning Resource Centres and certain resource costs for each year of study.
There may be additional costs attached to some courses which are not included in the advertised cost, such as course books, course materials/equipment or registration with professional organisations - please contact the College or ask at enrolment for details of any additional costs.
Concessions
Course fee concessions may be available for certain courses (the lower fee, where two are shown against a course). Concessionary rates apply to those in receipt of State Benefits, and their dependents, including:- Jobseekers Allowance, Income Support, Working Tax Credits, Incapacity Benefit, Invalidity Care Allowance, State Retirement Pension, Training Agency Scheme, Disability Pension. Proof of benefit must be shown at enrolment.
Methods of Payment
Full fees are payable on enrolment for all courses under £100. If your individual course fee is £100.00 or over you may apply to pay in instalments. For courses starting in September, 50% of the fee is payable on enrolment, with the remainder being spread over two further equal instalments on 15th November and 15th December.
Instalments can only be made using post-dated cheques (supported by a valid cheque guarantee card up to the final date of instalment). A £10 administration fee is charged for this service and should be added to the 2nd and 3rd instalments, i.e. you should add £5 to the value of each post-dated cheque. Please ask at enrolment for more information on instalments.
