Gorseinon College celebrated St David's Day with a variety of activities taking place throughout the day. Entertainment was provided by children from Pontybrenin Primary School, who sang a selection of Welsh songs, and workshops were held, giving students the opportunity to try their hand at making Welsh love spoons!
With the Urdd National Eisteddfod coming to Swansea in 2011, some fund-raising was organised, and £120 was raised by holding a cake stall and raffle.
